Cutting Edge Technology Showcase for European OER
This document describes scenarios for an integrated European OER ecosystem. Following what is described in 3.1 POC, this document takes into consideration the latest innovation examples, connected about technology advancements using AI and the possibility of integrating modules, features, etc. from 3rd party developers to share relevant learning resources. The landscape of Open Educational Resources (OER) is rapidly changing, thanks to significant advancements in technology, particularly generative artificial intelligence (AI). We focus on outlining key factors that can contribute to the development of an integrated European OER Ecosystem. We consider the implications of powerful AI tools like ChatGPT and the capabilities of interactive HTML5 content creation platforms like H5P.
